The 3 W’s Why, When, and Where when learning literature we are told to base our responses on these 3 w’s and as such, what I was once taught I shall once again use. Why do I play the violin? While there are many reasons why. One of the main reasons is just simply because of the joy it brings me. Listening to the amazing sounds it could make. Often times like voices singing to you. It truly is amazing. Moving onto the when, while I truly wish that I could say that I play the violin all the time unfortunately that is just not the case. A mix of not enough time and too much time is what I always say but in the back of my head I know that it really comes down to me and the decisions I choose to make and as such, realizing this I choose to put an end to the phenomenon known as laziness and become the best violinist I can be.

The World

What does the world not see? A question which in theory shouldn’t be hard to answer but the more you think about it. No. The more I think about it the more I realize just how little I know about myself.

The word may see a relatively tall guy and often times a not so friendly looking one.

Many times what they don’t see is someone who is shy and at times insecure.

Many times they don’t see someone using humor as a way to cope with his annoyingly real awkwardness.

Many times what they don’t see is just a kid. A kid just trying to make it by.

POEM 2

Acknowledgment

At times that’s what we all really want.

Acknowledgment

So hard to acquire at times.

Acknowledgment

At times it feels as though it just does not exist.

I am Statement

I am an athlete just as much as I am a violinist

I am artist just as much as I am a student

I can be anything I want but at the same time not

I am truly all these things or in reality I am just me
