Hello! my name is Reyna. I'm a Celia Cruz Bronx High School of Music student, and I have just started to play the cello in September 2021.

The Cello is on the right. A girl is on the left. Why is that? Well, the girl there is me. The Cello is also a part of me. When someone asks me What I do, The first thing that comes to mind is that I play the cello. Well, I'm not bad or amazing at it, I am still learning. but I'm still learning how to play this wonderful instrument. The Cello creates a wonderful sound with the help of the bow. But what does the cello need to even make a sound? Me. Without the cello who would I be?

Who am I?

I am a musician advocating for music education.

I am a cellist finding my way to make myself improve

I am a student caring about my grades and tests

I am the oldest sibling guiding my siblings to also reach their goals

who am I vs who am I seen as

when I see myself, I see a girl who is ready to do what she has to do. ready to go to school. But what some people might see could be someone that does not want to go to school or does not care about her grades. some people might not want to approach me because they might think I won't want to talk, but I would love to talk. I love music and I would listen to any genre people might just assume I love hard music because of how I just wear dark colors, but it's not like that.
