Francese
Singer and Bass Player
This assortment of images and symbols is my creative story. In the background stands my portrait, a sheet of music, and a picture of me hugging a tree. I love to play music and learn new things. I also love nature and feel as though we should all connect with the things around us. There is a compass, symbolizing the many paths in life that I could venture down and to what new directions my future endeavors will lead me to. The star is an homage to a loved one and something that I hold dear to my heart. The hand with a pencil is dedicated to my love for art and writing.
I AM Statement:

I am my identity. Whatever you think of me, I will take and use. I will grow as nature does, blooming one day with all my roots before I wither. My spirit, my soul, myself, I will be seafoam on crashing waves.

When I wrote this statement, I thought about how life takes its course. and how beautifully cruel it is. I will reach a point of pure bliss and content before it reaches an end and I become one with life in its cycle.
My name is Francese and I am 17 years old. I started playing music in second grade. I would sing around the house all the time and when it was time to play music in class, I would eagerly be the first one to want to play something. I continued to sing in fourth and fifth grade during the after school program that was offered and even put on two shows at my school. I went to Bay Academy for middle school and was enrolled into vocals where I spent the next three years singing and putting on about ten or so performances. I went into high school and when I got to my first in-person music class we tried out guitar, bass and drums, though I was drawn to the bass. I hope to further grow as a musician and continue my love for music.
